Delhi diesel price cut by Rs 8 per litre, now priced at Rs 73, announces Kejriwal Diesel price in Delhi has been cut by over Rs 8 per litre in a major decision by the Delhi government. Diesel will now be priced at Rs 73.64 in Delhi, announced CM Arvind Kejriwal. The Delhi government has decided to reduce VAT on diesel prices from 30 per cent to 16.75 per cent and reduced diesel prices in Delhi from Rs 82 to Rs 73.64 . Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday announced the decision to slash diesel prices in Delhi by Rs 8.36 per litre. Addressing a press conference on Thursday, Kejriwal said, “Delhi Cabinet has decided to reduce VAT on diesel from 30 per cent to 16.75 per cent. This will reduce price of diesel in Delhi from Rs 82 to Rs 73.64 i.e. by Rs 8.36 per litre .” CM Kejriwal also said that there was a serious challenge of reviving the economy of Delhi but it will be achieved together with the cooperation of people.
